What you should know
DAK contributions for students
In Germany, all students must prove that they have health insurance for the duration of their studies. Students currently pay a monthly contribution of 111.32 euros to the DAK for health insurance. The contribution to long-term care insurance for students is usually 30.78 euros per month. It rises to 35.91 euros at the beginning of the age of 23 if you have no children. If you have more than one child, the fee is reduced.
